Our PTO Board

The Executive Board of the PTO is composed of volunteer officers, including the President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer.

President

Ambra Bunker

The President of the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is responsible for presiding over both General PTO meetings and Executive Board meetings, serving as the official representative of the PTO. In this role, the President supports all voting members and committees. Additionally, the President oversees all events and collaborates with school administration to coordinate and plan activities.

Vice President

Shalin Woody

The Vice President of the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) plays a crucial role by attending all General and Executive Board meetings. They oversee the committee system within the PTO, providing support to the President and assuming responsibilities in the President’s absence. The Vice President also assists in planning and coordinating events. In addition, the VP is responsible for organizing end-of-year teacher gifts. Moreover, the Vice President may serve as a proxy parliamentarian, ensuring that meetings are conducted in accordance with proper parliamentary procedures.

Treasurer

Cynthia Cantu

The Treasurer of the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is responsible for attending all General and Executive Board meetings and providing monthly financial reports. As the custodian of the PTO’s finances, the Treasurer collects revenue, pays authorized expenses, and adheres to all financial policies. They hold all financial records in coordination with the secretary’s filing system and file sales tax returns. Additionally, the Treasurer manages the Square account and serves as the primary contact with the bank, handling deposits, withdrawals, and the management of cash boxes for events. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required for this position.

Secretary

Gretta Walhovd

The Secretary of the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) plays a crucial role in ensuring effective communication and organization within the PTO. This includes attending all General and Executive Board meetings and recording accurate minutes, which are then distributed to relevant members. The Secretary is also responsible for preparing agendas for official PTO meetings, ensuring that all important topics are addressed. In addition, the Secretary maintains historical records such as minutes and bylaws, both in physical binders and in electronic format. A well-organized filing system for PTO records is managed by the Secretary. Furthermore, the Secretary may also serve as a proxy parliamentarian, assisting in ensuring meetings adhere to proper parliamentary procedures.
